Donkee Brunswick Covina Champion Bret Rose happily pockets $2,050.00

First of all a big thanks goes to Steve and his staff at Brunswick Covina lanes. Thank you for hosting the Donkee tournament. Lanes were not too easy but fun. (P.S. easy for a few especially our lefty Bret. ???)

A single gentleman lefty Bret is a Loan Officer for Indy Mac Bank and works out of his home. Need a loan ??? Check with Bret. He said his Mom Sheila who he thanks got him into this great sport of bowling 32 years ago. I think he said he was seven. Thanks Mom. Bret loves bowling.

His highest game is the magic 300 bowled at Chaparral lanes in San Dimas and he sports a high series a 774 also bowled at Chaparral. His winning series this weekend at Covina was a very nice 750 scratch and 792 with handicap. There goes handicap?? For his big win Lefty Bret was rolling an old Rev Master by Track drilled by Joe Staton in Upland. who bye the way is also a lefty. Thanks Joe. Bret said it’s not a new ball but it really works for him.

For his big win he happily pockets first place for $1,000 plus $750 Jack Ace monies and a nice Bonus of $300 for having bowled six tournaments this year. Congratulations go to a great Guy.

Bret also wishes to thank his buddies who cheered him on and thanks the Donkee Directors for a great tournament.

The Donkee is making a few changes and we will have them for you at AMF Bowl-O-Drome Sunday June 11th. . First squad is at 10:00am, 11:30am, 1:00pm and 2:30 pm with the three game finals following. Where you finish is where you cash.

Lots to shoot for as Mystery Game is $800 and Mystery Series is $1,000. See you at Bowl-O-Drome.
